Seaway Heavy Lifting has been awarded a contract for the transportation and installation of the Merkur offshore substation platform. The Merkur Offshore Wind Farm is located in the German Bight, approximately 45km to the North of the island Borkum. 

Offshore Engineering B.V. provided the grillage and sea fastening design for transport of the 2750mT substation on board the HLV Oleg Strashnov.
